Case Study
In 2001, Linx partnered with Chris Cashman to purchase the assets of the Snowden Pencer division of Genzyme Corporation. Mr. Cashman was the Head of Sales for the Company at that time and approached Linx with the acquisition opportunity. Post-transaction, Linx worked with Mr. Cashman to transition the Company to a stand-alone entity outside of Genzyme, which consisted of building a sales team, financial department, European distribution system and ERP system where previously there were none. Linx also worked to reconfigure the manufacturing process around lean principles, increasing the efficiency of the plant significantly.
In 2004, Snowden Pencer was sold to a public strategic acquirer.
